Boids of a Feather

Simple rules. Emergent behaviour.
Applied AI research and engineering.

Why boids?

In 1986 Craig Reynolds gave simulated birds three rules: keep your distance, match your neighbours’ heading, stay with the group. A flock emerged that nobody had programmed.

Large language models work the same way. Simple rules, applied at enormous scale, produce behaviour that still surprises the people who built them.

Boids of a Feather does applied AI research and engineering in that space, working closely with people who think the same way to turn emergent capability into tools that are understood, tested and genuinely useful.

Flock together.

If you think the same way and have a problem worth working on, say hello.
